It's all about food in here! I've always loved cooking and baking, so I thought it'd be nice to share the dishes visually as well as practice on my very rusty photography skills!
I ought to stop going to France during the festive season - people there eat so much more than they normally do. This time, however, not much snow; things are more relaxed and I fall in love with cheese. Foie gras is still a challenge though. O'well...
This was the "must relax" trip. Private island getaway with a spa onboard - definitely something I wanted after a few hard and crazy months at the office. Nothing to do but be a beach bum which I embraced fully! All pics were taken with a Canon PowerShot A75.
7th to 17th April 2006: Ten wonderful days in a city I once called home - actually, I still think of it as home, home for my soul. Call me romantic. Call me sentimental. Call me crazy. Call me what you will but I still think that this is one of the best cities to be in. About 70-80% pictures here were taken with a Canon PowerShot A75 (now mine) and the rest with Nil's new baby.
21st December 2005 to 2nd January 2006: One and half days in Paris, the rest in Lyon and the French Alps. About 14-16 hours of flying time and at least 3 hours spent in transit.
It was a holiday where all I did was walk, hike and spend time with Nil's family. How was it? GREAT. Christmas never got any better. Seriously. All pictures here were taken with a Canon Powershot A75.
It was supposed to be a break for me while I was in the middle of switching jobs. Turns out to be more that what I bargained for. Anyways, here are pictures from our Hanoi trip (Aug 6 to Aug 14) taken with a disposable panoramic camera, Canon Powershot A75 and Olympus SLR OM2000.
